Homenclatures Loop & Lore

February 20, 2026

Sustainability practices that support local economy, environmental responsibility, and customer value.

Sustainable overstock management is essential for contemporary businesses, particularly for our 18-plus-year regional established home furnishings and design center, Homenclature.

We have established a long-standing relationship with one national designer brand and receive blind shipments of home furnishings and accessories throughout the year.

This approach not only aids manufacturers and partners in minimizing costs and enhancing operational efficiency but also aligns with increasing environmental standards. By adhering to lean inventory practices and fostering robust supplier relationships, we optimize storage space while enriching our local economy.

Our customers enjoy a curated selection of unique items, including one-of-a-kind,  some-of-a-kind, vintage, and designer luxe pieces.

Additionally, our commitment to circular economy initiatives is exemplified by our in-store and on-line shop, where skilled artists and designers transform surplus products into new, desirable merchandise. This effort significantly contributes to reducing landfill waste through the redistribution of overstock.

Embracing sustainable overstock management yields numerous benefits, including lower waste, enhanced environmental responsibility, a stronger brand image reflecting our dedication to eco-friendly practices, cost savings through reduced storage and disposal expenses, and increased customer loyalty among environmentally conscious consumers.
